Our first ever sour beer. A simple base of extra pale and wheat malt, kettle soured and then fermented on piles of raspberries and blackcurrants. Tart, refreshing and moreish.

ABV: 4.2%. Murky matt medium red colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, raspberry - frozen raspberry, blackcurrant, light earthy fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, raspberry, blackberry, dry, tart, wheat - yeast, ligh earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20201018]

16/9/2020. Can from Beer Guerrilla, Northampton. Pours cloudy dark pink with a small white head. Aroma picks up mostly on the raspberry, with some blackcurrant in the background. Nicely balanced taste, not a rip your face off sour, but enough tartness there to enjoy, complimented by a sweeter side from the blackcurrant. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Nice light tart fruity finish. Very good.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from Clapton Craft. Pours unclear red with a foamy, light pink head. Tasty beer, lightly sweet with nice juicy raspberry and cherry, moderate tartness, nips of lemony bite. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean finish, more juicy raspberry, general berry tartness, a little seedy bitterness, quenching mellow acidity. Very drinkable.
