SPECIAL RELEASE 10 of 12.
This ale's past is as murky as it tastes. Tales of poison-peddling 'beer witches' and bubbling cauldrons hide a much darker history of jealous brewers and alewives with an unfortunate choice in headwear. Did you see John Hickling dancing with the devil?

440ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy fruity and slightly tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of lemon, orange, old lemon, lemon peel, some mango, minimally dusty, yeasty overtones, rather neutral, pale malty background. Taste is zesty bitter, citrusy fruity and tropical fruity hoppy, notes of lemon, orange, lemon peel, minimally diluted hints of mango, passion fruit, pale malty basis with low residual sweetness; minimally chalky finish.
Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation.
Quite hoppy, a tad too light and watery to embed all the hop flavours adequately - OK.
