Can. Dark brown with a good cm of beige head. Aroma of lychees, nectarines, some grapefruit, mocha. Lightish bodied. Drier than expected from the aroma. The citrus and some peppery pine assert themselves relative to the tropical and stone fruit upon a taste, which is very much proper Black IPA - ie no roasted flavours, lots of fruity hops. Fairly snappy bitter finish. Nice stuff.

440ml can from House of Hops, Petaling Jaya. Poured a murky almost black colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty, light dry ashtray. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a fresh, crisp, roasty, dry ashtray, light grassy, super light sweet toffee, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
