We have taken a classic brew ‘Fastback’ and given it the mountain style treatment. Utilising a different yeast and brewing technique to give this west coast grist and hop profile a hazy look and mouth feel. Featuring Cascade, Chinook, Centennial & Citra. Big and bold, complex and moreish.

(Cask at The Bear Paddington, London, 20 Nov 2024) Amber colour with foamy, tan head. Malty, hoppy nose with toast, orange peel and apricots. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of toast, dried apricots, orange peel, pink grapefruit and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Refreshing and well balanced. Nice one.

Draft at Steamworks, Seaford. Poured a murky dark amber colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, floral hops. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a dry, earthy, herbal, light floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
