Wit Beer

Half liter can procured at a supermarket in Hsinchu, drunk at the hotel after Italian dinner with Lagrein and Baladin. Light amber with mild haze, tall short-lived head. Nose of faint yuzu, grain, yes i think coriander. Flavor is a bit thin, mild hops, a bit grainy with a hint of citrus. It's alright, needs a bit more body/flavor and hops. Have i tried a craft beer from Taiwan? Might be the first so that's something!

500ml can from Farmers Bar, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is yeasty, banana, bubblegum. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, light yeasty, banana palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Somewhat light but very drinkable on a hot Asian day.

500ml can pours out straw color topped with a white head. Nose is nice light wheat spice some grain and grass hops. Taste is more of the nice wheat spice notes and light hops.

10/5/2023. Can from Family Mart, Daren, Taiwan. Enjoyed at Hotel Royal Chihpen. Just named Wit Beer and different to Osmanthus Wit but same abv. Pours slightly hazy pale orange gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of orange, lemon, pepper, mango, wheat, light herb and yeast. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Nicely done.
