330ml can. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, coffeee, light liqourice, charcoal. The flavour is light sweet, with a smooth roasty, liqourice, dry coffee spice, smooth liqourice bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

16/2/2019. Can from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn. Pours very dark brown with a frothy beige head. Aroma of roasted coffee, sweet malt, chocolate, vanilla and touch of lactose. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Watery and oily texture, average carbonation. Quite drinkable, though even at 4.5% could do with more body.

330ml can. Pours almost black with a small beige head. Aroma of coffee, roast malts. Taste of coffee, roast malts, dark chocolate, bitter roasty finish and a hint of a metallic note coming through. Light-medium body, fine carbonation, a little thin for what it is though to be fair it is only 4.5%. Not bad but plenty have done this better.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity at the Bristol branch of the Brewhouse & Kitchen November 2016. Near black in colour, with a slight, beige, head. Aroma of coffee beans, plain chocolate and toasty malts. Flavours had plenty more coffee bitterness and chocolate, before a dryish, roasted malt finish. Enjoyable.
