375ml bottle from Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured almost black in colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is molasses, boozy alcohol, red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, slightly oily, boozy, liquorice, light chocolate, red berry fruits, raisin, warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Not the cheapest beer I’ve ever bought but well worth the money.
