Cask at the Hall Croft Tap, Shepshed. Light yellow/gold and clear with a large off-white head. Apricot aroma with heavy floral notes and a hint of honey. Sweet taste, again lots of apricot, with a big fruity turn. Not bitter in the finish but certainly more balanced. An excellent beer from Charnwood.

13/4/2018. Cask at the Elm Tree, Cambridge. Pours straw gold with a small white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, hops, grass and straw. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Good brew.
