Our 2016 collab festival beer with Brewdog Shoreditch. It’s easy drinking, slightly tart, yet full on breakfast stout. We added smoke malt for ash, cherries from the fruit cellar and our Has Bean Coffee. This along with huge quantities of oats and lactose for full bodied stout.

Keg at brewdog Edinburgh. Pours black, nose is chocolate, toffee, cherry, roasted, taste is sweet, toffee, chocolate, cherry.

On keg at the Brewdog Edinburgh. Appearance - opaque black with a thin crema head. Nose - major coffee dominating the chocolate. Taste - more of the same though the chocolate does come through stronger. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long creamy finish. Overall - not big into coffee beers but thus was ok.

On tap @ BrewDog, Soho. More or less a black one this., yeah, I'll call it black. On the top a small quickly sidesticking beige film. Like the aroma. It's licorice dominating. Well roasted, and it's almost burnt sugar sweet. It's somewhat high on the carbonation this and it has a mild oily texture in the mouth. Nice mild roasted flavors here. It has a mild sourness also, not sure if it's a roasted sourness or perhaps it's something else. Yeah, didn't mind this. 21.10.2016
