A well balanced combination of rich malty flavours with a touch of caramelised grain on top, balanced with a lively quantity of both American late addition hops and British bittering hops. Hops: Fuggle, Motueka, Experimental 256 & Cascade.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015 - London. Pours clear honey-gold with a creamy, white head. Citrus accents in the nose, with some lightly toasted grains, hay, faint butter. Light sweet flavour with decent rindy citrus hops, pale bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation; so so condition. Finishes with more citrus notes, some bitter hay, pale grains. Just OK overall.

Pigs Ear Day 4. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth and has decent carbonation. Trace of sulphur. Good ripe fruits, tangy dried fruits - slightly sharp. A little citric peel before the light finish. Okay.

Cask at Pigs Ear, 2015. Amber pour with a white head. Aromas of orange peel, tangerine, lot of juicy hop in there. More tangy hop in the flavour, shed loads of sweet fruit in there. Easy going brew. Quite nice.

Cask-conditioned at the Beer Emporium, Bristol, 2/7/2015. Deep amber in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. A touch of toasty malts, hint of liquorice, red berry and citrus fruits, followed by a moderately bitter finish. Good stuff.
