Poured from a 16 oz can dated December 30, 2024.
Aroma is malt forward with lots of nice toasted bread, caramel and toffee notes. Light notes of nuts and honey graham crackers. Hints of herbal, spicy hops with faint alcohol notes.
Pours a fairly clear amber color with some ruby and auburn hues and a large, thick, fluffy, tan head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers.
Flavor is somewhat sweet with a fairly strong malt profile. Lots of caramel, toffee and toasted bread. Hints of nuts, burnt sugar, and honey graham crackers. Moderately strong to strong bitterness with light alcohol notes. Medium light herbal, spicy hop notes that linger in the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid amber lager. Really nice, complex malt notes with balanced hop notes and bitterness. A bit more bitter than I was expecting but it works.

Can from Ale Arsenal. Pours clear amber with gold highlights. Head is off-white and fades to a collar of small bubbles with dusting over the top of the beer. Aroma is caramel and rich bready notes. Flavor is nice caramel, a bit of dark fruit and breadiness. Medium body with a bitter spike in the middle.
