Cerveza oscura y compleja. Maltosidad alta donde los tostados son aparentes y evocan a expreso, chocolate amargo y frutos secos complejos junto con un balance perfecto en amargor. Es robusta, aterciopelada, compleja y alcohólica que la hace ser única en su tipo. Mejor cerveza en este estilo en World Beer Awards 2019 realizado en Inglaterra.

Dark brown. Thin head. The aroma has a burnt note, umami. It's similar on the palate, with some molasses accents, lots of bitterness. This doesn't come across as being refined, but there's a lot of big, fun flavours here as well. I'm down.

Aroma: inky, bold, roasty.
Taste: along the same lines, good body, some sweetness.
Overall: good for the style.

18/12/2018. Bottle from Beervana, Santiago. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate, liquorice, roasted malt, coffee, treacle, carob and dark fruits. Moderate sweetness with medium to heavy roasted bitterness. Full bodied, slick texture, average to soft carbonation. Slightly harsh bitter liquorice finish, but with some mellow warming alcohol. Not the best impy maybe, but not bad.
