16/10/2018. Cask at the Kings Head, Stamford. Pours golden amber with a lasting creamy white head. Aroma of hops, fruit, flowers, malt, light resin. Medium plus sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask @ King’s Head, Stamford. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light hoppy - citrus. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 161018

Cask @ Kings Head, Stamford. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, fruits, flowers, grass and hops.

Cask at the Squirrel, Penn Street, 12/06/17. Clear golden with a well appointed white head that retains well. Nose is big on bready malts, grains, straw, faint citric notes. Taste comprises bread dough, pale malts, toasted grains, straw, lemon drizzle, melon, biscuit. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with mellow bitter tones. Decent enough cask offering but a touch hot (in a cask way) to provide lager refreshment.

Handpull cask at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Golden, clear, a bit of scummy white head. Gentle lemon aroma with some sharp spicy hop. Taste is more mellow, sweet with a slight bitter hop note at the end. Hint of butter in the finish. A mixed bag, generally good but I wish it was better.
