Cask gravity at Croydon Crafty Fest. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, jasmine, grapefruit, spice, leather and wood. The taste is dry, bitter, oily, resin, sticky, big jasmine character, very floral, spice and leather with a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty unique. Not 100% sold on the balance though.

Cask at the Crown Inn, Dial Post. Strong citrus aroma. Dark Amber. Not much to the white head, a few whisps here and there. Initial caramel sweetness before a hoppy bitterness materialises. However thereโ€™s also a sour vinegar edge to the latter. Light bodied. An oilyness to it. Light carbonation. Long finish. Not that great. Itโ€™s OK, but not an overly pleasant edge to it.
