Cask at The Exchequer, Crookham Village. Vague, sweet malty aroma. Dark amber. Frothy, if patchy, white head. Medium sweet. A touch of umami and the slightest bitterness in the finish. Fruity. Malty. Medium bodied. Extremely soft mouthfeel. Short finish. Very pleasant.

Cask at the Wheatsheaf, Farnham. Golden amber with a loose white head; fresh Fuggles hop aroma; sweet caramel taste to start with some nutty malts; and a refreshing bitterness with a trace of citrus. A satisfying ale.
