Cask at Prince of Wales, Farnborough. 24/06/16. Little aroma. People eating next to me which is what I am picking up - slight fruity aroma coming through but not sure that’s the beer. More amber than golden in colour. White head - some froth but blotchy. Bitter, bordering on sour, with a medium body. Suppose it’s better than some of the tasteless golden ales you get out there but not one I want more of. Perhaps been on for a while?

Cask at the New Leathern Bottle, Warfield. A slightly hazy amber pour with a thin scummy-looking head; biscuity malt aroma; light citrus bitterness with a biscuity finish. Rather disappointing.
