Flesje gedeeld door Benzai en gedronken met Tomhendriksen en Roelzie86. Bruin bier licht troebel. Aroma en smaak is karamel- en koffieachtig. Nasmaak is iets bitter

Fles gedeelt door Benzai, geprobeerd met Inoven en Roelzie1986. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een rokerige geur. De smaak is hoppig, bitter en rokerig.

Tap. Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Slightly muddy, plum red. Glossy topped, foamy, beige head. Nose has well roasted malt. Blackberry. Caramelised citrus. Taste is fruity bitter, with a malt sweetness. Medium body. Foamy carbonation. Lightly drying. Light, citrus bitterness to finish. More black IPA than anything for me. Nice beer, though.

Sampled @ BXL Beerfest 2018. A hazy reddish brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee, bitter citrusy hops. Taste of intense bitter hops, citrus, caramel, some coffee, interesting.

Very high dark cream to tan head over deep ruby-brown beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Roasted, lots of ureum, melanoidins, straw, Hessian sacks, baking oil. Ultra dry, ashy, burnt flavours, completely different from the nasal aromas. Ends seriously hopbitter. Very stable creamy head with ditto feel; beer is ultra dry, but slick and well-carbonated. Despite the utter difference between nose and taste, I like this very much. 8/4/8/3/17
