Pours orange with a foamy white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, grass, mild caramely notes and toffee. Taste is malty, citrusy and grassy with hints of pine and resin. Finish is sweetish, malty and citrusy with some caramel and grass. Okay, but a bit of a disappointment from Knee Deep. These guys can do better.

Location: 22 oz bottle from Sparrow-Downtown, 8/21/15
Aroma: The nose is citrus hops, some earthy notes, and a bit of caramel
Appearance: It pours a mostly clear orange color with a frothy-foam head and fairly heavy lace
Flavor: The flavor is on the hoppy side, but not super bitter, citrusy and clean overall
Palate: The feel is fairly clean, with a light-medium body, and a mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: I've had a couple of Knee Deep beers where I felt like the hops were a little stake testing, and I couldn't tell if that was the beer or the store not watching their inventory (I'm looking at you every store on Long Island). Anyway, this treated much fresher. If this is what Knee Deep beers are usually like, I am intrigued.

Bottle. Golden body with a white head. Aroma of light pine and resin, grapefruit, toasted grain, herbs. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Light aroma and flavor for a 7% beer, but balanced taste of pine, citrus, lemon, resin, grapefruit. Clean malt backbone. Simple, but crisp and tasty.

Amber, hazy. Strong citra nose is unfortunately quite chewy, either from crystal malt or age (it’s a few months old) or possibly both. Taste is similar, with moderate bitterness and some toastiness, but really lacking in brightness.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a fluffy white head that lasts through out the beer. Aroma has lots of earthy citrus, earthy grains and a bit of bread. Flavor has lots of bread and biscuit with a good amount of bitter citrus.
