22oz bottle pours a clear, bright orange with a cloudy, white head. Nose is excellent, big and resiny, hoppy, garlicky, orange, honey, onions. Flavor is malty, lemons, orange rind, a little candy, onion. Medium bodied, lightly watery finish.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Nice grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and light rind flavor with malt. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and light tropical fruit lingers with malt.

Aroma of citrus and lots of fruit. With single-hop Citra, i always get a bit of a dank, catty, earthiness that is here on this one as well -- detracts from the overall beer in my opinion and i have never loved a single-Citra. Beautiful clear copper with a white head of over an inch that lingers throughout. Taste is very bitter with fruit again showing and a crisp bitter finish. Mouthfeel is a little resiny and maybe slightly thin for the style. The malt is not pronounced until well after the beer has been finished. I get some pine on the end as well.

Bottle. Pours with a completely clear golden hued body with a huge white head. Aromas are of huge tropical fruit up front. Nice hop character, very sweet smelling, candied citrus, tamarind, and STRONG diacetyl. Flavors are all diacetyl and it gets much worse as it warms. Tons of butterscotch, grassy. Nice and dank, tropical fruit hop notes behind the butter. Medium to fuller carbonation, medium bubbles. Dry. Hard to get past the diacetyl. Good hop flavor though. Would be rated a lot higher with out the diacetyl!

Tap at the Rubicon. Pours clear copper. Cat piss aroma - lots of citrus. Near med body. Flavor is really hoppy citrus with some arguable floral over a mild caramel backbone. It’s very hoppy and very bitter and very very good.
