Canned. Translucent gold pour. Some straw, hard water, hints of fruit and lime. Not bad.

Crisp and easy drinking. Very well balanced for the style. Golden pour with decent head. Crisp end. Tap at fairfax location.

Tallboy can thanks to hershiser2 and shared with S.S and K.Z! Clear amber, large creamy white head. Aroma of honey, pale malt, perfume. Taste is honey, lime, pale malt. Medium bodied, crisp, well balanced. One of the better Mexican lagers I've had.

Pounder: Mild grass nose. Clear amber, thin head. Corn, grass. Light body, moderate carbonation. Eh, I'm just not a fan of this sub-style. I guess this is as good as it gets.

$3.50 Pint can from Wine Warehouse. Pours clear gold with a large white head. Nose is light citrus, grain, straw, very light wet dog. Flavor is very corny, some grasses, some wheat, dough. Maybe fine, but it’s a standard yellow Mexican lager... not overly creative or tasty.

Birch and Barley, DC tap: pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma is lihhtly fruity with some bready biscuit situation. Taste is fairly mellow. Low hops. Bready and lightly sweet. Body is fairly carbonated. Ok.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a mostly clear golden yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was pleasant fruit notes. Light wheat grain notes, touch of citrus. Flavor was light tropical fruits, actually quite pleasant in my opinion.

16oz can pours a clear gold with some frothy, white head. Nose delivers what you expect, sweet dough, honey, grist, lemon, candy. Flavor is sweet, doughy, sugary, grist, biscuit, marmalade, a little tamarind or something. Finishes sweet. Standard for style, perhaps a bit over priced in this market.
