Gravity cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. It's very dark gold: golden brown really. Clear. A wisp of white head leaves considerable lacing. Malty, grassy aroma. A bit dirty but fairly simple. Taste is sweet, malty-led, with a touch of astringency turning stronger just at the finish. I also get caramel, light notes of grape. I struggle with this one a bit.

14/3/2019. Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival 2019. Pours amber brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of grain, citrus, hops and light caramel. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.
