12/7/2019. Cask at the Five Bells, Wickham, Berks. Pours almost black with a small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate, coffee, nut, dark fruit and a hint of smokey bacon. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation.

Cask @ Five Bells, Wickham. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, little bit of licorice, hops and has a nice roasty finish.

Cask at the Five Bells. A glossy black pour with a purple glint and a thin beige head; aroma of chocolate malt; smooth and lactic in the mouth with a flavour of toasted malts and some chocolate syrup; then a light bitterness and a toasty finish.
