Bottle: Poured a black Baltic porter with a nice large brown foamy head with good retention and some light lacing. Aroma of chocolate malt with some dry roasted malt notes with huge woody bourbon notes clearly identifiable. Taste is a nice mix of chocolate malt notes with huge dry woody notes of bourbon with a dry bitter finish. Body is a bit thin for style with good carbonation and light warming alcohol notes are discernible. Enjoyable but bourbon notes are quite forward and body is maybe tad too thin.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear dark brown with a ruby hue and a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of barrel, dark grains, roasted malts and some green apple. Flavor has more roasted malts and dark grains with a decent amount of bourbon and a hint of green apple.
