This traditional German style black lager combines a layered malt profile and balanced background of German Hersbrucker and Magnum hops. Upfront notes of toasted grains, coffee and chocolate malts leading to an elegantly smooth finish. Conditioned for 6 weeks, this unfiltered style may be big on flavour, but still sessionable enough to keep you coming back for more.

Can: Poured a light black color stout with a nice light brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light roasted malt with some black chocolate notes is enticing enough. Taste is a mix of light roasted malt with some black chocolate notes and light residuals sugar notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Easy drinking and enjoyable enough for a style that isn’t brewed enough.
