Light orangey-amber. Aroma is fresh, old school c hops, taste is the same, with lightly apricotty notes, grapefruit zest, and biscuity malts. Lighter version of the IIPA, well-balanced and refreshing.

2014-06-03, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
as Extra Conditioned Citra Hopped Pale Ale, 7-4-7-4-14=36
Hazy amber color with compact head. Nice citrusy hop aroma, a bit sweaty. Dry mouthfeel, the caramel flavor is dry with straws and toffee accent; bold bitterness, not directly linked to Citra.
Quite balanced, not cutting edge but nice.
2014-04-03, cask at Alibi Room, Vancouver, dry-hopped with Falconer’s Flight, 10oz
8-5-7-5-16=41
Cloudy light amber color with large frothy head. The aroma is fresh and fruity, apricot jam, light mango, light tropical fruits, lemon. Undercarbonated, warm, with soft mouthfeel; the malt flavor is quite nice, with a toffee accent; very light, pleasing residual sweetness; quite strong bitterness, just as required, leading to a very fruity and resiny final, sweet oranges and tropical fruits.
Very good.
2014-03-25, cask at Tap & Barrel, Coal Harbour, Vancouver, dry-hopped with Amarillo, 14oz
8-3-7-4-15=37
cloudy dull amber color with generous frothy head. Powerful Amarillo aroma, fruity as expected, plenty of oranges, but also metallic, green. Soft mouthfeel; the malt flavor is delicate, maybe simple; good bitterness level although it seems aggressive in the final.
Fresh.
2014-03-11, draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, dry-hopped with Citra, 12oz
7-4-7-4-14=36
Cloudy golden color, dull. Fresh hop aroma, citrusy, a bit earthy. Dry and lean mouthfeel; dry malt flavor with lemony hops, tea; strong bitterness; a nit earthy and animal. Long final.
Powerful option.

On tap at the Alibi Room for the 500th beer list, pours a hazy copper orange with a small white head. Aroma screams out fresh citrus hops, loads of resin, and just enough malt backing. Flavour is very bright and potent for a pale ale, with loads of resinous hops, citrus notes, pine and biscuity malt backing. Super flavourful, closer to an IPA in its hoppy goodness. Really excellent stuff.
