Pours light mahogany, bit muddy, some beige foam. Nose has some intense paper cardboard acidity, sweet ripe figs (or is it just a sweet candy caramel). Too cloying and somewhat off-putting. Taste has more caramel, funnily dry and lots of half-bitter rowan berries there. Tannins. Actually not as terrible as I thought it would be, almost drinkable. But not really.

Bottle 330ml. @ Olutravintola Pikkulintu, Klaavuntie 11, Helsinki, Finland 00910. [ As Holu The A Train ].Clear medium red amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, nutty, caramel, pale malt, berry - fruity malt, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, nutty, caramel, pale malt, berry - fruity, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160706] 5-3-6-3-10

On tap at Pudel, Tallinn. Clear deep amber with a modest off-white head. Malty and caramelly aroma with fruity notes, hints of raisins and citrus. Sweet, malty and not very balanced, muld flavour and a fairly light bitterness. Fair enough.

Tap at Pudel Baar, Tallinn (tap takeover). Deep amber color, good creamy off-white head. Berryish, caramel and some vegetables in the nose. Medium-bodied. Flavor is similar to nose: lots of crystal malts; berries and light veggies. Way too sweet, needs more hops.

Bottled@Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Amber colour, small white head. ARoma is fruity, floral, some juniper and mild nectary notes. Flavour is quite similar with the resiny and mild alcohol notes. Somewhat strange and unbalanced still.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 01/02 /2017, at Pikkulintu, 20160706) The beer poured brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had vegetables and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, vegetables, sweetness and acrid finish. Aftertaste was sweet and acrid. A poor brew.
