Just as night meets day in equal measure to mark the start of spring, our new seasonal ale strikes a perfect balance of bitter and sweet notes from two brand new hop varietals, with a subtle hint of honeycomb at the end of the brewing process.
Enjoy the celestial magic of Equinox this Easter. Now available on cask at your local Hall & Woodhouse pub. But hurry, when it’s gone it’s gone!

Cask at Taplow H&W. We discovered this newly built pub whilst out for a walk. I went for this relatively low ABV beer in the hope of something citrussy and refreshing, not realising it was actually a honey beer. It poured a pale amber with a white head. The condition was average at best; a little flat, you'd expect better from a tied house. Sweet floral flavours up front (presumably from the honey). Creamy vanilla followed in the finish, and became a tad cloying by the end. It wasn't the citrussy brew I wanted (my fault for not checking with the bar staff!), but on the plus side it was nice to have something a little different. Unfortunately though I wasn't convinced by this one - the lack of condition may not have helped.
