Appearance - 2 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 3 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 2.5

Keg at Brewhouse & Kitchen Dorchester. Opaque murky amber-orange with no head. Ok at first, with brown bread, orange and some ground ginger. But increasingly gets taken over by strong vegetal notes - obviously the pumpkin, but rather than a sweet and spicy pumpkin pie it ends up more like a mildly bitter rotten marrow. Not great.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6

Cask at the brewpub, 28/10/15. Murky amber topped with a decent beige covering. Nose is caramel, light spice, caraway seed, bitter orange. Taste comprises pumpkin loaf, herbal notes, moderate spice, toffee, brown bread. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Ok pumpkin affair.
