Cloudy amber with a tiny bubbly white head and a soft sweet biscuit aroma. Yeasty and grainy, some sweet cereal malt, hop bitterness and a dry finish.

Bottle from Bottles & Books. Hazy bronze body with a thin white head that fades. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of caramel and biscuit. Flavour of earth and toffee. Thin body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. Bland and inoffensive.

Bottle from the brewer's own stand at the Frome Independent market. Amber-orange with an off-white head and a light fizz. Wheaty flavour with some earth, then berry and lemon notes leading to a spicy kick at the back of the throat. Maybe not quite up to their excellent Black IPA or Citra Pale, but still a very decent brew. I like this brewery a lot!

Bottle from Better Foods, Whiteladies Road, Bristol. Amber and slightly hazy, with a decent, off--white, head. Earthy maltiness, plenty of balancing fruit sweetness, and some hedgerow hops before a decent, bitter, finish. Pleasant.
