Keg at the brewery tap in Leeds. A jet black coloured pour with a a creamy tan head . Aroma is woody roast, basalt, earth, oyster.. Flavour is composed of creamy earthy roast, little ash, thin grains, slight butter. Palate is semi sweet thin, creamy, moderate carbonation. Meh.

Cask-conditioned at the Ackhorne, York 22/7/2017. Near black in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Some baklckberry fruits, toasty malts, plain chocolate and a dryish finish. A workmanlike stout.

Keg @ Tapped Leeds, Leeds. Black with a creamy off-white head, it’s only slightly dry but not too stated with its roasted malt character either. Has a fair nose.
