Cask at the Hanging Bat. It pours cloudy deep red with a small off-white head. The nose is earth, toast, red berry, light jam and some sweet vinous notes. The taste is bitter-sweet, toasty, caramel, red fruits, jam, light spice and wood with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Decent.

Cask at the Hanging Bat. Pours clear red-brown, thick off-white head. Aromas are straight-off nuts and red fruit. Hazelnuts. Taste is sweet, nutty, rich, jammy dodger. Maybe a tad too much nuttiness on the finish, but a lovely beer.
