Cask at The Clachan, soho. It pours golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is toasty, biscuit, fruity, honey, hay and honeysuckle. The taste is light bitter, biscuit, toasty, lemon meringue, light pepper and citrus peel with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Some interesting elements to it. Perfectably acceptable golden action.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - lemon and a vague hint of fudge. Taste - lemon and honey over pale malt. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a solid golden ale.

Cask at The Haymarket Bar. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas has a hint of butterscotch, otherwise caramel and lemon citrus. Taste is more of the same, bit thin on the end.
