16/6/2022. Cask at the 30th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear dark gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is malty, citrus, stone fruit, grapefruit, straw. Medium sweetness, moderate developing bitterness, touch of tart. Moderate body, oily, soft carbonation. Nice fruity finish. Very nicely done.

Cask at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours an almost murky golden peach colour with minimal scummy white head and good lacing. Tropical fruits to the fore in the aroma, In the mouth it starts off sweet with tropical fruits, oranges and caramel. Later on some sticky lemon comes through, and this is dominant in the finish – but not too yucky ! Jury is out on this one.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Dark gold, clear with a fluffy off-white head. Light biscuity aroma with a suggestion of citrus and white grape. Tastes bittersweet, touch of iced tea and some stone fruit hop to a little bit of astringent in the finish. Drinkable if a little nondescript.
