Bottle 50 cl. Pours a dark, reddish bown with a creamy, beige head. Sweet roast aroma with a whiff of subtle smoke. Medium body, sweet roast, a little licorice and very subdued bacon. I’m pretty sure that no pig was hurt in the making of this beer. But a pleasant, easygoing Porter to the sweet side. 200117

Bottle 0.5l. Black colour with minimal short-lasting head in ecru colour. There is only delicate ring around the glass after one or two minutes. Aroma is quite intense with roasty, ash and roast bread notes on the first plan and small accent of chocolate behind. Roasty in taste as well with light to medium bitterness which has roasty character with small hint of alcohol - burns a bit in the throat but generally it’s tolerable. Beer is mostly dry with marked ash aftertatse and delicate fruit-sweetness at the finish. Really good but for me it could be more of body but of course it’s not light beer. Good beer with ash character and adequate content name. And ash character reminds me of the saying: "thou art dust and to dust you shall return".
