Keg at Astral Beer Pube, Bologna, 25/03/23. Deep mahogany brown with a lasting beige head. Nose is tangy fruit rinds, dark malts, bretty pangs, modest funk. Taste comprises cocoa powder, light acidic bimble, charr, dried fruits, figs, raisins, bretted notes, damp oak. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent ... good bretted balance.

Cask after a lovely cheese and beer tasting. Pours black with a thick head at first. Aroma is dark malts, sweet malt, chocolate and caramel, odd funk. Medium body, very smooth. Flavour is sweet, malty and quite rich, some chocolate and a touch of lactose. Nice easy drink Brett porter.
