Bottle at enoteca la nicchia. Pours a dark amber, hazy, with crazy head and carbonation. Aroma is intense crystal malts, caramel, vinous, weird slight funk. Odd. Medium body. Flavour is very malty, sweet, lots of caramel, prune, apple. Light metallic note. Not really a saison but there is a Belgian character with a hint of funk... Not bad this. But odd.

Bottle on balcony at La Plumeria, Cefalu, 3rd April 16. Pours a deep amber, slight head, good lacing. Aroma is vineous, yeast, barn yard. Taste is complex, refreshing, yeast, funk, bread. Very good.
