Beer advent box day 4 beer. Lightly hazy light gold dark straw with a decent sized bubbly white head that dissipates. Bready light caramel sweet malt with earthy citrus to counter. Beer 4 and so far they all have a late 90's pale ale feel.

Can. Hazy amber bere with a cream head. Citrus and light tropical fruit aroma. Grapefruit and tropical fruit flavor with malt backing. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruit linger with malt backing.

I liked the Elvis Juice, also the Double Elvis. So now I am trying Imperial Hazy Jane in a 12 oz can that came to me from Half Time. Let us see if the streak continues. I have a Belgian tulip glass receiving the pour tonight. Hazy for sure in a pale yellow way with a momentary head of fully white foam that condenses to a ring around the glass. The nose is tropical fruit, a bit of citrus and some mostly covered-up grain. I lift the glass for a taste. Well, if it has to be a hazy, this does all right. Pineapple, a touch of grapefruit, white bread, perhaps some kiwi fruit, a twist of orange rind and enough hops to register. More sweet than bitter, I think that is the way the style trends. A bit of heft in the sensation, maybe that comes from the moderate level of alcohol. Not a bad brew.

Brewdog Advent Calendar Day 16

Dark gold with a small foamy white head. Very boozy and a bit phenolic with light fruity and citric hop notes. Very long boozy finish. Moderately full bodied.

Can. Advent Calendar. Pours a hazy orange hue with a medium white head. A big juicy perfume nose. Sweet citrus, toast, orange peel, lots of sweeter tropical elements. Solid. Very smooth.

Thick pale malt, moderate bitterness, some alcohol in the finish. A bit on the sweet side.

On tap at BrewDog Franklington (Columbus), pours a clear golden with a small white head -- doesn't look like a hazy at all. Aroma brings out lots of stone fruits, citrus hops, and some sweet tropical notes. Flavour is sweet, fruity and hoppy, with lots of sweet tropical stone fruits dominating, followed by more subdued hops, some alcohol, and just enough biscuity malt backbone. Very fruity and on the sweet side without being malty. Good stuff.
