Bottle 500ml. [ As Herslev Kongens Øl ].Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, dark malt, juniper, wood, smoke, bog myrtle - gale, honey. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, wood, bacon smoke, wood smoke, juniper, dark malt, honey. Bottle @ Johns. Pours dark brown with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, caramel, lots of smoke, herbs, spice. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, smoke, spicy, herbs. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish. 301216

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark malts, herbal and smoked. Flavor is quite sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 301216

Bottle, 6%. Clear dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, herbs, spices and smoke. Flavour is malt, caramel, smoke, meat, spices, herbs, medium sweet and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting, my place. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are smoke, malt, honey, herbs, fruits and hops. Herbal and smoky finish.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and light hopy aroma. Nice smoked notes. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter very smoked flavor. Average finish. Oily palate.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - Dark brown pour with off-white head. Dark toasted malty and medium to light roasted, has some charred burnt wooden smokey character, some spice, hoppy backing, decent.

Draft. A red-brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of herbs, spices, wood, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of herbs, berries, caramel, malt, and a bit of smoke, leading to a dry finish.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is smoked and slight peated. Bitter, dry, peated and dark malty. Dry, roasted, bitter and slight herbal. Dry and roasted far finish.
