440ml can at 9.3%. Pours black with tanned fizzy head, circular retention. Aroma of roasted and sweet malts, chocolate, cream, some light ash. Taste is bitter roast, dark chocolate, cream, some lighter berry notes, less sweetness than the aroma suggested, quite dry with slight ash notes. Medium to full body smooth, a touch clingy on the palate, soft carbonation, a nice alcohol warmth going down. I like it.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 09/07/22. Black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is dark malts, cocoa powder, toffee, mellow roast, dark fruit rinds, spice. Taste comprises roast malts, bitter chocolate, hint of dried red berries, molasses, spice, toasted brown sugars, dried fruit rinds. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Decent enough sipper if perhaps stuck a little twixt 3rd and 4th gears.
