Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has citrus with a hint of dank mango, some onion and a bit of melon underlying. Flavor has more melon and citrus with some rind and a bit of onion in the finish.

Clear dark gold with a two-finger head. Aroma is pine resin. Taste is also pine resin.

12oz can pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is big citrus grapefruit and some sweetness. Taste is more of the nice citrus grapefruit hops some pithy bitterness on the end.

3/21/26 - Tried again after 6+ years and it’s vastly improved, if a tad dull. Punchy notes of grapefruit and dank and a touch of tropical fruit, piney finish. Won’t make my regular rotation but definitely reflects the steady gains in quality from this brewery.

11/3/19 - Diacetyl city. Big grapefruit and passion fruit hop notes backed up by pine and a caramel malt base, but it all gets pushed aside by the buttered popcorn finish, thick and off-putting. Not what you want in a brewery’s sole IPA.
