Bottle from Hopt. Aroma is funky and bretty with brown malt, oak, dark fruits, and a touch of caramel. Flavour is tart and mildly sour with a dry finish. A little bitter as well. Body is modest medium. Fairly light but nicely funky and fruity, tart.

Funky nose is nice, as is the hearty barnyard notes behind heavy oak and tart citrus. Dates, black cherry, and honey flit around the periphery. Good.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Hazy brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, citrus and bretty. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. Not up to their usual standards. 221218

Keg at Kilder; hazy brown pour with a thin off white head, aroma has tangy dark fruits, taste has mellow dark fruits, only slight funk.
