On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear, golden color, with a big, foamy, white head. The aroma is pineapple, guava, resin, quinine, and sawdust. A little dry, with a sharp, acidic bitterness. Medium body, with a crisp, effervescent, and grainy feel. This is a fun and tropical IPA, if a little astringent.

So the label on my can says Human Highlight Film, while the label in the picture says Human Highlight Reel. Both say Imperial Pale Ale, which I'm pretty sure isn't a thing, but to hell with it. Not sure where I stand with this pint; the hops offer a pleasing dose of orange, berry, and mango, laced with mint and resin, but there's a weird, medicinal bitterness hanging around, clashing with the mild honey sweetness on the back end. And, where bitterness in modern IPAs has become a pleasant surprise, the clingy, intrusive bitterness here gives the pint a homebrew-ish quality usually not found in Scofflaw offerings. Not bad--my pint is empty--but odd.
