Overly sweet, as are all these Confectioner beers, to the point lactose becomes the dominant flavor, providing a cloy vanilla note far outpacing any coffee or chocolate from the malts. Sweetness turns medicinal on the back end, with an off-putting bitterness mixed with boozy warmth. I do get the Irish Coffee vibe, but it's closer to fake Irish Coffee flavoring in a bad Frappuccino knockoff than the actual drink. Not sad to see this mixed four-pack end.
