Very thin, very dry, more like a glass of carbonated coffee than a beer. Quite acidic, with a strong coffee cherry middle backed by a lingering dark, dark roast bitterness. Metallic undertones are exacerbated by the lack of body; finish grows slightly tart and almost acrid. All around bad.

Can sample at a tasting at Tom L's place. Thanks Tom L. Black, beige foam. Coffee, roast, sweetish, caramel, some chocolate, light bitterish note, medium-bodied.

At a tasting, smallish creamy head, quite dark but not opaque brown color, nuddy, spicy aroma, with some roasted coffee beans, aroma of coffee and roasted coffee beans with mocha and a hint of dark bread. Nice, a touch light.

On tap at Fat Bottom, pours a deep dark reddish tinge brown with a small tan head. Nose brings out earthy coffee upfront, followed by toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with earthy dry coffee dominating. Not a whole lot of depth, but it works pleasantly.
