Nice layered imperial porter, offering up a solid chocolate core with a bourbon flourish and coffee roastiness rounding out the back end. Dark fruits and caramel surface in the middle, yet the pint never grows overly sweet, instead allowing the booze and oak to percolate on the finish. Thick and smooth, with a lovely beige head and good lacing. Tasty brew.
