Cask at Alehouse, Reading. Chocolate bitter aroma. Dark and glossy. Thin light beige head. Lightest bitter. Thick. Slick. Abrupt. Non-entity. But drinkable.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Swindon Beer festival, 28/10/2016. Black in colour with a slight, beige, head. Rich, toasted malts, leafy hops, big chocolate character, leading to a sweetish finish. Very good.

Cask at the 23rd Egham Beer Festival. An opaque black pour with a damson glint and a think beige head; aroma of strong coffee with a hint of chocolate; a dense milky body with a sweet drinking chocolate taste; then dry lingering rich bitter chocolate to finish. A really solid porter.
