Bottle - Christmas present from the sister-in-law. Aroma of coffee and chocolate, with malts. Dark and glossy. Foamy beige head. Bitter, creamy coffee, briefly. However a tart berry edge then comes to the fore. Medium bodied. Creamy, semi-skimmed. A tickle of carbonation. Astringent dry finish, although there's an underlying creamy coffee bringing things to a close. Really good porter.

5% On tap at The Ravensgate Arms Ramsgate. Black beer lasting tan head. Chocolate digestive biscuit aroma. Dark chocolate. A little burnt roast malt in mouth. Good mouthfeel. A little tar and liquorice. Pretty good i thought a little blackcurrant fruit. Pretty good. Lovely dry mouthfeel. One of the better keg beers ive had for mouthfeel.
