440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A covering fawn-coloured head over a deep dark brown body, rich lacing. Attractive malt-fruity aromas, caramel, dried fruits, and a spicy note, lightly roasted. Fine balanced taste of caramel, earth, spices dried fruits, and some aquavit moments. Smoothly roasted malt-fruity tail, long lived, but still easy to drink. Christmas joy with All of us to All of you on TV. (Tromsø, 24.12.2024).

Dobbel luke 5/24, en 0,44 boks fra Julenissen på Oslo Sentralstasjon, hjemme: brunsvart med ok skum. Pikante kryddertoner i kombinasjon med mørke malter, hint av akevitt, vanilje og en viss lynghonningsødme. Et superdelikat juleøl som jeg ikke ville hatt betenkeligheter med å iføre meg på St. Hans aften uten hverken dessert kaker eller sjokolade. Her får jeg det jeg trenger.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Nearly black colour, small beige head. Moderate aroma of aquavit spices. Rich mouthfeel and flavour, distinct aquavit spices. Nice and tasty.

Can. A dark brown beer, unclear, with a small beige head. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, earthy hints, some dark dried fruit and booze. A burnt hint too. Toffee. It's full bodied and smooth, very lightly warming and not too sweet. Gentle bitterness. Roasted malts, oats, caramel, some dark dried fruit and chocolate in the flavor. Some pleasant booziness. Long finish. Nice. 241126

This version is better than the other I have tried. Not that much caraway
