Small bubbly mediumlasting head, clear light reddish color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, red berries, smoked grassy chili, minerals, grass, hay, flowers, honey, hints of citrus and perfume. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, red berries, sorrel, minerals, smoked grassy chili, bark, citrus, honey, flowers. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice.

Deep blood red pour. Nice intensity in the aroma It is off course sweet. But not to heavy Lots of red fruits, vanilla, some honey and mild chili [Bottle at Sørjordet Plaza in Drammen, Norway]

Bottle, courtesy of the meadery. An unclear, almost murky, dark brown mead, still and headless. Strawberry, caramel, raspberry, hints of honey and some chili in the aroma. It's full bodied and smooth on the palate, with a very light maltiness. Strawberry, raspberry, caramel and some chili in the flavor, with a touch of honey. Lasting finish. Not sure if I like the strawberry here, but it's a fine drink anyway. 240907

Kjerrheia 170420. Red color no head. Aroma is raspberrries, honey. Flavor is raspberries, strawberries, vanilla, blueberries, chili. Wow Fantastic.

7-4-7-4-14 Bottle, #058, two years before bbd. Pours deep dark red, with a small rocky head. Aroma is sweet notes of honey and dark forest berries, vanilla and chocolate, as well as musty fruits and tannins. Full body, with no carbonation. Flavour is sweet with honey, strawberries, blueberries and forest berries, as well as vanilla, plums, musty fruit peel and some hot notes of chili.
