Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark brown with an orange hue and a small, rough, beige head. Sweet chocolate and subtle roast in the nose with a hint of smoke. Sweet, malty body. Vanilla and milk chocolate with only a wee whiff of (Bamberg?) smoke. Low carbonation. Baltic Porter? 260822

Opaque but clear ruby brown, small frothy tan head, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma roasted malt, wood, bacon, coffee, some tarr, licorice. Smooth flavour, medium sweet and light bitter, smoked malt, coffee, bit bacon. Mild smokey sweetbitter finish, smooth and well-balanced not that outspoken rauchbier but very nice.

Bottle. Pours cloudy coffee brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of roast and smoke, with notes of nuts and yeast and malt. Bitter, roasty and smoky flavour with notes of hops and touches of malt and coffee. Smoky and roasty aftertaste. High carbonation. Decent.

Bottle, 6.2%. Metallic and roasted aroma, OK smokey note. Clear very dark brown colour, red shine. Small stable creamy light brown head. The flavour is nicely smokey with a caramelly maltiness and a little citric note. Has an unpleasant dryness in the finish along with a faint metallic note. But still a good beer.

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Roasty dark malty and smoky aroma, hints of dark chocolate, smoked eel, smoked ham. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, slightly smoky, minimally metallic, hints of dark chocolate, a touch of smoked eel, peat, sticking-plaster, asphalt; more a fade-out than a finish, slightly overcarbonated.

Süßlich rauchiger Beginn bei milder Karbonisierung. Wässrig röstiger Hintergrund, geringe Herbe. Die Intensität nimmt insgesamt ab, geringfügig getreidig, wässriger, wenn auch leicht schokoladiger Nachhall. 10/9/8/7/9/8
